Partial replacement of Roofing Felt?
Discussion
Hi - in the process of purchasing a 1960's built house and (unsurprisingly) the survey has come up with a few issues. One of these is that the under tile felt is original and deteriorating at the edges and replacement in the not too distant future should be budgeted for. Surveyor suggests this would need bottom 2-3 courses of tiles removing and the lowest 1M or so of felt immediately leading down to the gutters replacing. Likewise flashing round a dormer window and chimney probably needs attention / replacement
Trying to obtain a very rough idea of pricing to get this done - its a 4 bed detached with good access.....local roofers too busy or reluctant to spend time giving outline quotes for work they may never get (I understand - wife was self employed....)
Anyone prepared to give a ball park idea?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply which is reassuring to a certain degree, but the house has been owned by an elderly person and no obvious maintenance has been carried out for quite some time. As a result the wooden soffits and fascia boards are mostly visibly in poor condition / rotten and will definitely need replacing so if felt / flashing is required as well (even as a preventive measure) we'd rather do it in one go (along with the other renovations).
As we haven't exchanged yet I was just hoping to get a vague idea whether the felt / flashing work is likely to be £1K, 6K, £10K etc etc. Then we can decide if we need to re-negotiate with the vendor.....
Thanks to anyone who can offer thoughts / educated guesses on very rough numbers.....
