These are garbage, yes?

I suspect I know the answer already as these types of sites are always the same. Buy now. Decide price hike, buy multiple, etc.
The wife is researching options for external lights for Christmas and we’re a bit bored of the usual icicle lights, etc.
So, a bit of colour and something different and these state controllable by phone and downloadable maps for sequencing etc.
If anyone needs me I’ll be over at the Council thread…

Before buying cheap Christmas lights, take a look at what Big Clive has to say on the subject…

Worth noting that the ones linked in the OP are USB not mains - but yes, I'd be pretty wary of cheap mains stuffhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtFqdPbqItY

Buy from Amazon at the beginning of Dec and then send them back in Jan.
Repeat next year.
Free lights.
That's a great idea.Repeat next year.
Free lights.
You can get a slightly different set each year, so the children think they are posh.
You can probably buy most of your Christmas fare from Amazon too, and then complain afterwards that it wasn't very nice. Refund-a-go-go.
For the ultimate thrift, change religion to Judaism and then there is no requirement to have Christmas at all.
