Had a power cut this morning for around 5 hrs. Afterwards my gates have lots their open and closing distance.
So now the gates are trying to over close, this trips the saftey function and re opens them.
Anyone had an idea of how to reprogram them to the correct opening and closing positions ?

They are NICE in ground motors I’ve searched and can’t find anything.

Help !!!! !!!!!!!

Mine are hydraulic and timed, roughly 30 seconds power on to open, wait 30 seconds and then 30 seconds to close (they push up against a stopper).

My old house had electric gates with limit switches for open and close positions.

Assuming you’ve got the former, if you power them off, release the hydraulics and move them to their fully open or fully closed position, re-apply hydraulics and then power on what happens?

Hi.

Don’t think they are hydraulic. I have released the gates and arm now just over close.
They are battery backup, but the battery was completely flat.

Oh, so controller might have lost settings if the back-up battery was flat?

You can usually find a manual online if you want to have a go at changing the open/stay/close settings.
