Water leak through door sill
Discussion
Whenever there’s long periods of rain or heavy rain we get some water coming through some part of the lower door frame/sill.
I’ve identified one place the water is coming inside and it’s in between the wooden bit and the metal bit.
Can I just put some sealant on the inside across the gap and hope the water finds another (exterior) route out? The normal drain holes are unblocked and can’t see anything obviously wrong with any of the door or sill. The door does face the weather so wind direction means rain/water tends to be pushed against the door.
