Hi, any recommendations for carpet protector for office chairs? We have had one in the past and it was horrible to use as it often moved with the chair. So any suggestions please.

Thanks

We bought one of the clear ones off Amazon with spikes underneath that keep it still

They don’t sell that one any more but loads on there

Buy a pack of Laminate flooring (or similar) and make a hard area in front of the desk for the chair.

We use a bit of the same carpet that was spare and got the edges bound.

I think carpet or rug as suggested above is the best bet here.

The lack of rolling resistance with the clear plastic style protectors make it hard to stay comfortable, as a wheeled office chair wants to continuously move around beneath you ..Probably good for an ab workout mind?

As mentioned above, ikea do them….although mine went to the tip.

This. By far the cheapest solution.

Also, try roller blade wheels: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XHV9BY1 as an alternative, with a carpet offcut.

I was not happy with the quality of the protectors on the major buying sites so go some laminate flooring, mounted onto an MDF base and now use that.

It does the job and looks good.

I find the polycarb ones decent - the ones that come flat rather than rolled.
