What is this white fluff?!?

That has been blowing around the village for the past few days?

Almost looks as if it's been snowing. It's EVERYWHERE.

All over my garden, in my kitchen & rest of house, in the gutters, even my wing mirror spider's web.

It's like white fluff with seeds in? Johnny has said he's seen it blowing about on the M25 too.

I'm convinced it's some kind of airbourne alien released spawn. Please tell me I'm right & it's not some evil weed that's going to plant itself in my gardens??

Well it's not very popular here...

There were Poplar Trees near my last house, but don't recall having seen it before. I can't think of where in the village they are. I will endevour to find out. Thank you.

Yep. The Chinese are changing the sex of the poplar tree for this very reason.
