I've been hunting around lately for some inspirational home interior pictures to help me visualise and plan what a couple of properties I've got my eye on lately could turn out like.

Here's what I've found so far, please feel free to add your favourites in too, you'll most probably recognise some from either here or around the 'net.

All of those smack bachelor now and for ever.
I think they will date very quickly and are harsh.

Very nice pix etc but - the aim seems simply to surround oneself with shiny expensive things. There's not a single sign of a human being or personality anywhere, merely picking things from lifestyle magazines.

I like small cosy rooms with character fireplaces etc, so no point me posting

They almost all look like they could have been taken from a "Show us pics of your flat-screen-TV set-up" thread, on some HiFi enthusiasts forum.

A lot of them are of the same room too.

Not a good look, IM(V)HO. Shouts "Batchelor" (or possibly "Male Divorcee") very loudly ...
