Question about insurance at home for work items

Just a quick question that has been posed


If someone takes a company laptop home, and their house is broken into and the machine is stolen along with a ton of other stuff (own laptops and pc)

Will they be able to claim for the work laptop on their home insurance?

The company's office policy may cover this. Your household policy will probably only cover your own items i.e. things you actually own.
