Best vinyl flooring
Discussion
I put in an Amtico floor 15 years ago and, while it still looks great, I am wondering if there are superior options these days.
Anyone have any experience? In those days the other competitor was Karndean, but I don't know whether either they or Amtico are the best these days.
Very happy to be educated!

Amtico are still the market leaders but there is great alternatives out there now. Karndean are still decent too
Have a look at:
Textures and elements( my current favs, fitting them is great)
J2
Luvanto ( I haven’t fitted so can’t say on quality but they have some nice tiles)
Most flooring manufacturers have there own versions of lvt now with varying quality: polyflor camaro, forbo etc.

Many thanks gents (I presume gents!)
I need something that does a wide range of colours in a marbled effect - I see textures and elements do some but only a few
Back when I ordered my floor Amtico were happy to cut to size a quite complex pattern that looked amazing when installed.
I hope the same service is available - it was impressive!

I have Amtico in my kitchen flowing into the dining family room which we laid and it has been down 20 years now, well a bit longer as it was end of 2004. It still looks like new and had zero issues with it which given it was not professionally laid is amazing.
I wouldn't change what works tbh
