We’ve had artificial grass for the last five years or so and whilst it’s holding up very well albeit slightly duller than it was, it’s beginning to look a bit flat and is also starting to hold a lot of the shredded twigs and leaves from the neighbours pesky trees smile

We also have a dog but her debris doesn’t seem to be causing any issues.

Question is, I’d like to spruce it up a little bit.
Happy to hire a proper cleaner type device for a day or so or maybe invest in some brush type thing but I’d like it to look a lot fresher for the summer.

For those with similar issues what have you used / would you recommend to either give it a good hoover or brush.

I do have a leaf blower/mulched that I use periodically but the decomposing remnants from what I’ve missed are starting to stick

We have artificial grass and the previous owner hadn't left it in a great way. Purchased one of these and I go over it every few months and have to give it a brush and hoover with henry every so often too.

I would much rather have grass smile

You're supposed to brush once a month (I never did it that regularly) and always brush it against the pile so it stands up.

Ours was very hard wearing. During the summer I sprayed it with a deodariser (that smelt of fresh cut grass) to make sure it didn't smell of dog wee.

Apart from that it did't take much looking after and looked great particularly in winter compared to the real grass.

I use that Hyundai power brush on our artificial grass. Gets all sorts on it due to surrounding plants/trees and kids/dog.

Works pretty well. I wouldn't have put it in but it was here when we moved in and frankly, it's made the whole space usable through the whole year, unlike for most of our neighbours

Used to pressure wash mine, that always springs it back up quite nicely. Started off brushing it which seemed to take ages hence the pressure wash
