Coming home from Brum yesterday there was a dead wallaby/ young kangaroo that had been hit by a car. It was on the junction where the M1 joins the M25.

It caused me to do a cartoon style double take.

Anyone figure out how it may have got there?

It's a descendent of an escapee from a farm in the 70's IIRC. My Mum saw a mink in similar circumstances a few years ago.

There are quite a few can be seen hopping around near (but outside) Whipsnade Zoo.

There's a hell of a lot of Mink around, a bunch of animal rights nutters released thousands of them some years back, thus decimating the wildlife in the area rolleyes

I caught the end of the travel news on the radio they other day saying there were delays on a motorway somewhere due to a sofa on the carriageway! I did wonder if it was Eddies...

I thought I saw a wallaby in Newcastle once. But it was just my neighbours' greyhound, having a st.
