Born at 12:00 on the 15th February my first highland calf of the season. Not sure on sex of the little thing as yet but pictures to follow.

That is pretty cool. I've owned sheep and worked on farms with cows and pigs but never had my own.

Very stressful this time of year with the calves and lambs being born. But it's 100% worth it to know what goes on our plate.

I've been waiting for my first heifer for years now and all I get is stirks which I'm afraid do end up sold ready for the chefs amongst you.

Put a deposit down and you can have your very own stirk boxed and freezer bagged in two years time. You can even give it a name if you like. wink
