Well, I have anywhere between 50 and 100 Dachshunds (and a few other breeds) coming. I've gathered some fabulous prizes, goodie bags for the first 50 and free samples and treats being given away on the day including a stack of raffle prizes. I've raised £902 so far and more to come - it's all for a reallly good cause - the event is next Saturday in Surrey - if you want to come along, please PM me for details. It's going to be a lovely day.

I would love this, but live the other end of the country. Next time I'll have to organise visiting the folks (surrey) so I can come along. Mass dog walks are awesome.

It was a great success, I raised almost £3k - absolutely delighted. Some lovely press pics here http://www.thisissurreytoday.co.uk/pictures/Sponso...

...and a write up from the Dorking & Leatherhead Advertiser here:

When I do it again, maybe the PH Dachshundsista will join in.

Ahhh that's a great shot isn't it.... my favourite beardy Dachshunds!

The walk I planned took about an hour and most of them did it twice. Dachshunds like to walk for miles! they are hardy little things smile

Thanks Bex, I am really pleased with it, I'm on garden leave before my new job starts so it's great to be able to make a difference somewhere AND have fun at the same time. smile
