Faithful old friends

I'm sat here fondling the bunny's ears and thinking that they have been such a constant in my life.

Friends come and go but pets are always there.

Thanks for being such a good friend Treacle and Coco. (But please stop eating the sofa)

Charlie, destroyer of worlds (3 y.o. Lab) is curently snoozing on the bed while I type this - no biggie, he just needs to be where I am.

As for the 'old' part, my Bobo gave me the best part of 16 years of unconditional love and companionship, god I miss the old fart!!!!

The little fkers are now in the bad books for getting into their food box and relieving it of its contents.

And still I can't be angry. A little tail wag or head shake and they make me go soft.

When I'm at work (only part time, but still away from home for three days a week) I miss them terribly.

Ive been looking at photos of them as babies and it struck me how they have aged, but still remain very much 'them'. Who'd have thunk a pair of moving slippers could worm their way so deeply into your heart.
