Cat not eating
Discussion
Daisy the cat is about 13 and she's losing weight - she had lost 300gs at last weigh in a few months ago and now another 300gs (she's not a big cat).
She does get a nasty phlegmy bug every few months which requires a convenia shot to treat it but it doesn't seem to bother her other than coughing and sneezing.
She just seems to be getting picky with her food! Eg. Wet food or dry food she turns her nose up (they have hills c/d due to other cats urinary tract issues) although she's loved this food for years. But I gave her prawns the other day to tempt her to eat and she wolfed them down.
Could she just have fit bored if the food? She hangs around expectantly when the food comes out but just walks off uninterested.......

My cat is the same, 15 year old and picky in her old age. We can't get through a box of food without her turning her nose up towards the end! She has an overactive thyroid and is on pills daily for it, which makes ensuring she gets the right dose a bit tricky!
Hot weather doesn't help matters, she doesn't seem to want to each so much in this weather, or drink surprisingly!
