Ours are beaten to it by the puppy now who opts for panting heavily in our faces to get us up. The cat previously would take the "I'll stand on your chest and purrrrr in your face" approach.

Yes, our Sosidge jumps up on the bed and goes between me and my OH, purring right in our faces until one of us relents!

Just as well he's as cute as a button really!

Yes, I made a rule that they were not to go in the bedroom as I don't like hair on the covers or my clothes etc.

I come home most days to find my OH has left the door open and they are snuggled in my bed or clothes.

My cat does this. It will knit your body until one of you moves to make enough room for her to sleep in between us. If knitting fails, she will stand on my OH's boobs or stick her wet nose in your face!

She seems to have a squash fetish as well, you can roll over in the night and properly sandwich her yet she makes no attempt to escape or move. Just continues to purr.
