new Puppy - mini EBT content
Discussion
off up to sheffield tomorrow to pick this little bundle of fun up:

we've been looking for a mini for over a year and finding it quite difficult, but finally it all worked out and she's ready to come home tomorrow.
i grew up with 2 full size EBT's when i was young and now we've got room at home after losing 2 cats last year, we decided to get one. we opted for a mini as they are quite unusual and there arent many about. the KC only has a few "reputable" breeders and after contacting all of them, there are only half a dozen or so that still breed.
the breed has a record of health issues so it was hard to find one with the relevant health tests. unfortunately, there is no shortage of pups on the free pet ad sites that are completely un health checked and this leads to an awful lot of early deaths.
long drive to pick her up tomorrow but she's gorgeous so its worth the trip.
i'll update with some better pics when she's home.

My friend had a mini ebt a couple of years ago, he got it from someone call Lynn I think ,
His dog was a loon, but on the dangerous side , he had to get it re homed as it really was in a world of its own and very unpredictable ,
Another friend liked them also so he also went up from London to get now from Lynn, his was also ' strange'
It had very bad eyes and health from the start and would spin round all day , he also re -homed when he had a kid

Always wanted the Bull Terrier. But thought for a first time dog owner they would prove to be too steep a learning curve when it came to training.
Still remember the the dog bootcamp/training show were on two separate occasions they were utterley defeated by a Bull Terrier
Ended up with 3 Staffordshire Bull Terrier's instead!
Pedant mode.English Bull Terrier

she's settling in well. pretty much roosted on my shoulder for her quiet periods. also obsessed by ears - a favourite nibbling point.
she's learning the meaning of "NO!" slowly and the occaisional nose tap works wonders. she seems to have reached an amicable agreement with the cats after taking a kicking for 2 days in a row.
they certainly are hard work but growing up with 2 full size Bullies means that the hard work over the next few months is expected. so many of them are given up on as untrainable and the rehoming centres rarely bother keeping them.
she's certainly the most easy going pup that ive seen over the past year.
(luckily she's not from a woman called Lynn)
just a bit of fun on saturday:

excuse the national anthem in the background, i'm not a crazy nationalist, i was watching the rugby.

My Stella went to the bridge last May, I'll never have another breed now. I've been volunteering with Bullie rescue for about 4 years, until I moved to Dubai, and you're right they get overlooked! They really are such wonderful dogs, stubborn, pig headed, farty, embarrassing, but utterly utterly wonderful!
Looking forward to all your updates, vids & piccies <3 she is absolutely gorgeous!
