The local specialists are only a couple of miles away - Shirley Aquatics

I would offer a home as my new place has a pond but I know nothing about fish and it seems a bit harsh to practice on yours.

Definitely contact that local aquatic company. They deal with that kind of situation a lot, I'm sure. As a poster said, the fish will be worth something, financially. But, it's great that you're doing this out of respect for your parents.

The large one anything from £80 up to a couple of grand depending on markings. Looking at the food floating you shouldn't be feeding them much at this time of year. You should give them enough so that it's gone in about 5 minutes. Below 8 degrees don't feed at all. This time of year a low protein wheat germ food.

Sell them or give them away ASAP as if the water changes filter cleaning etc is not being done then they can deteriorate pretty quickly


If somebody is collecting them make sure they have suitable bags and know what they are doing

Good luck with them they look like decent fish it would be good if they go to somebody who can look after them as well as they have been looked after so far
