Anyone experienced anything like this before?

We have an old female cat, approx 16 years old.

On most days she's just your usual old cat, comes in, has some food and lays in her spot on the sofa.

On three occasions now, she has acted very strange, as if she is lost in her own house, wandering around over and over. This will go on for an hour or so before she will finally settle down somewhere. The next day she will be back to normal.

It's all very odd.

Sorry to say she might be going senile.

Can you also get her blood pressure checked?

Sorry, but I think it's just age, I had a 17yo female that went the same way (along with weight loss, 150% appetite increase, and meowing almost constantly at full volume). Might be worth making here a house cat, mine didn't recover from one of her "seizures" and wandered off into a busy road, with predictable consequences frown

As above get some checks done, blood pressure, kidneys and thyroid. To rule out medical reason for change, if all OK could be just senility changes quite common, some natural products may be worth a go if it is eg Aktivait. Very occasionally it can be a sign of something more serious like brain tumour but even if it is you would only treat conservatively (eh steroids) which is what we had to do for one of my cats.
