We have two young bearded dragons, complete with top notch vivarium, accessories etc.

Also a young ginger rabbit, with good cage etc, happily plays with cats and other creatures.

I am trying to help my teenage daughter sell them as she needs to spend more time focussing on her school work (not my decision).

Happy to pass to a good home for the right money but don't know where to find a buyer, ebay etc wont let you sell live animals.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hmm isn't it time the adults in the family took responsibility. after all you allowed her to have them in the first place. They are not toys to be discarded with when life gets busy.

Not sure those two go hand-in-hand. I'd rehome the animals and then sell the gear on ebay or wherever.

Why separate the two, rehome the animals where?

The RSPCA should help you re-home the Rabbit, just speak to your local centre.

With the beardies I know that a couple of my local reptile stores allow private adverts in their stores, might be worth ringing around any near you to see if they can help. Otherwise, I've been after a couple for ages if you want to give them to a good home wink

Just be really careful who you sell them onto esp the beardies, as proven in your daughter's case people give up on them too easily due to the care they need or even worse don't provide proper care for them in the first place due to ignorance (same goes for rabbits tbh!)

Can the family not help her with them. At a similar age I was caring for 6 hamsters a rabbit a guinea pig and my aging dog whilst studying my vet nurse exams and doing a full time job, it is possible.

Try asking your local vets, they will prob allow you to put an ad up or may know of good rescue centres able to take them in (you won't get money for them though)

I suppose at least if you sell them they'll go to someone who probably wants it, rather than someone just taking it because its free.
