How Bad Could It Have Been?

Bengal Cat (they have huge, razor sharp claws) grabbed my wrist during 'animated' play... I didn't jerk away, just unhooked him (he knows to stop play when his claws go 'in') and that was that...

But...



... he has the potential to do real damage. Could easily have sliced deeper.

A&E's about 1000mtrs from my house.

What were my chances?

(how do I add a smiley face to show I wasn't entirely convinced my life was in grave danger... more 'just wondering' because its raining and I'm not in the pub)

It's a vein, relatively small, you ain't gonna bleed to death from that. Simple pressure would have saved you if....and big if the vein had been sliced as opposed to puntured. Hope you mend well x
