My wife and I have a boston terrier (6) and a french bulldog (3), both female. We are about to add an Argentine Dogo to the family, and are unsure whether to get another female or to get a male.

I have been told that many females could be problematic (our frenchie is incredibly dominant), and that a male would be a better balance for our "pack".

Will it really make much difference?

I always found boys to be easier going, I have 2 clockers, dog(5) and bh(11) and a Beagle dog(1.5!). The cocker bh has always been an independent madam, whereas the boys just want to please.

Are your current females intact?

If yes, get a b**h. A male can cause a fight between the b**es when in season.
