Sevenoaks - Dog get together
Discussion
Pretty much everywhere charges for parking. Haysden lakes bewteen Tonbridge and Sevenoaks will be the most dog friendly http://www.tmbc.gov.uk/services/leisure-and-cultur...
Knole Park is nice but it's paramount dogs are not loose as there are deer there.

Then of course there's Hever Castle but probably pricey to park

Wow we are used to free parking most places except town centres.
.
Welcome to Sevenoaks! Probably better to keep a bit of distance from central Sevenoaks. You might want to try somewhere like Andrews Wood..

Another vote for Andrews Wood (Parking free if you go North past Polhill Garden Centre, right at next roundabout the 1/4 mile on right)
Follow path to footbridge over M25 then sought of straight on bearing right and there's a couple of picnic tables through a gate. Or down into valley up other side and picnic on the hill overlooking Shoreham (nice tearoom with small garden at the Aircraft Museum. Also River Darent(h?) in Shoreham good place for washing/cooling down dogs - not deep enough for swimming tho)

SO we can go through Andrews Wood to Shoreham with the river? How far is the river from the picnic tables roughly(some people will have six month old puppies)?Follow path to footbridge over M25 then sought of straight on bearing right and there's a couple of picnic tables through a gate. No good at putting routes on maps so nicked this from another website:

The straight route on the map from Andrews Wood to Aircraft Museum would miss the picnic area, you'd go South East after crossing M25 for short distance, then follow path North at picnic area to rejoin. Probably 4 mile round trip (but the bit between Andrews and Meenfield Woods is down and up a valley then down all the way to Shoreham - then all the way back obv). Maybe a bit much for small pups.
If I was still living in Dunton Green, would offer to drive some people back to the carpark.
