liver damage in dogs
Discussion
Just looking to see if anyone had any previous experience of dogs with liver disease.
Found out last night TED has it.he has not been well for a few days not eating, sleeping more off his food, panting and general unrest. He was rushed in Monday to see the vet and two days of blood tests have confirmed the vet’s fears.
He is back home now and looking more sorry for himself. he has supplements to take with his food to support his liver function and a course of tablets but being a hound he has senses like a Jedi walked away from his food as it did not smell the same, taken the ham which hid his tablet and spat the pill out we ended up tag teaming him after dissolving his supplement and using a syringe to squirt it down his mouth.
The next route is scans and ultra sounds to see the extent of the damage. Not sure how or why it’s happened could be a number of things.
