Field mouse or House mouse ??

My cat is a very efficient hunter and brings plenty of these chaps in for me. Are they field or House mousies ??



Here he is doing some 'under cover work' around his patch......

Field mouse, the ears are larger and the tail longer than a house mouse, more brown than grey as well.

Thanks. The fields must be almost empty of mousies around here now. His work is almost done.
