Max is about 8 months now, we are feeding him twice a day wet in the morning and dry in the late afternoon.

Question is do I keep him on kitten stuff until 1 year or is it ok to go to the adult stuff he seems to be demolishing the wet stuff really quickly (1.5 pouches).

Any tips/advice appreciated.

Our lad only has Lily's kitchen and we started to introduce regular food once a week at ten months and by 12 months he was fully converted, big bonus is Lily's is now in Tesco's so no more long trips to Waitrose!!

Usually suggest 10 months is fine, 8 months poss sl early but only really an issue if a larger cat. If he looks like he still has a lot of growing to do keep him on kitten if he is looking full grown, not too slim and neutered adult food will be fine.

Ref Lily's Kitchen just note the range is sl different in Tesco compared to Waitrose (compare ingredients)

Thanks for the advice think he's still has a bit growing to go don't think he's going to be a big cat though.

I take it Lily's is a good choice he's currently on Felix wet and wainwrights and james wellbeloved dry.

Have you considered raw food rather than pouches?

Lily's has high meat content of high quality, no grain, no sugars added etc like most supermarket foods. Wainwrights is an acceptable range aswell.

I agree. I'm glad to see they've done this, I can finally recommend a supermarket food!, just as long people who were buying the original know there are some differences that they may see as relevant.

Lily's kitchen in tescos is a cheaper version of the real stuff.
Applaws is really good food, available in wet and dry.
