Poppy has just come into season (well a week ago) and will NOT stop trying to hump Sonny.

When will it stop?

Season lasts 3-4 weeks, hormones are obviously upside down. Should settle again after this. If you plan to get her spayed 3 months after her season has ended. Will save future hormonal upsets .

I assume male dog is already neutered.

Yes he is thankfully and he is getting rather fed up with it. He has never cocked his leg and still squats like a girl and is rather baffled by it all

It's her first season and she will be done as soon as we can so hopefully give him a break.
