Right, hope this works.
The boys.

Little monkeys, they kept wearing out those wheels, so I used a bearing from when the cambelt was done on the Scooby, I bonded it into the centre of the wheel. It works a treat, and is much quieter than an original (until the one that isn't doing the running is trying to eat it as it goes round - VERY annoying).

Always had gerbils before these. They can be really fun to watch, and are VERY friendly, they've never bitten me - or even tried to. But, just sometimes they can be the most annoying creatures on the planet.
Think I will be getting gerbils next as an in-between animal. Will keep the cage, as I made it myself, and get some more degus in the future. They are about 5 years old now.

My two are 2 years old now, one likes to sit on my shoulder. The other isn't that interested in me unless he thinks he is getting a treat, he is however very protective of the cage and tries to attack the dog through the bars when ever she goes past.
They are quite messy and I am sure they have a competition between them on who can kick their poo out the cage the furthest.
