Well a little over a month ago we got Terrence the Dorkie (dachshund/yorkie) and it became apparent that he needed a little play mate. Although i came back at lunch on work days, i felt horrid leaving him for even a few hours.. i know I'm soft.

So we've adopted one of next doors puppies! Their daughter was meant to have one of them but she doesn't want her anymore so they gave her to us, saved me a good £400 and she's very cute. Theres only a day between them and they aren't as much as a handful as id worried! Meet 14 week old Hattie and Terrence...

Adorable! They will be great pals. My two are Cairn terriers and love each other to bits.

What a gorgeous pair of dogs.

We are off to look at a puppy this afternoon, we have been thinking of a friend for Daisy; 2 year old Frenchie, for a few months and lo and behold a friend of the wife's, her dog has had a litter, they are a Yorkie, Jack Russell cross.

Thanks for the kind words. We've just bathed them both which was interesting and they are now asleep on the sofa with the log burning stove on. She's a bloody dopey thing but got a lovely temperament, unlike Terrence who's can be a little st and is always on the look out for something.

Glad they're different as i love them both for different reasons!
