Anyone know what's going on with the 'new' Marcos?

A year or two back there was a lot of talk (and even a car) about the 'new' Marcos.

I'll admit it wasn't to my taste, but I wondered if anyone knows if this project is still active?

The prototype does appear regularly at car shows. The last time I saw it was at the Classic Car Show NEC last year. It is still supposed to be under development.
