Finding nothing of interest on Amazon (where a Black Friday = over a week) and its pretty hard to navigate and search there too. Last year was excellent and got £100 off a vac robot to chase the dog's hairs, bargain 4k tv etc. Cant find a thing this year though.

Any top tips guys - or maybe just wait for Friday!

I've been looking at 4K tv's too but it seems to be 20% discount instead of the 50% I was hoping for

Black Friday is an American thing, how does it work in the UK?

Or have we adopted yet another part of their culture?

(Sorry if this has been done to death, been living abroad for years)

I'm after a laptop - ideally asus zenbook and a decent spec desktop

Wouldn't ignore a 4K tv either.....

The 25th but they seem to be dragging it out from now, 2 years ago was really good. Fridge broke at about the same time, the new one was 500 instead of 800 a few weeks later. Last year the discounts weren't great, not expecting much this year.

I'll be on the lookout for a 4K monitor. Usually there are decent deals to be had.

Good link thanks and excellent timing, I am very unfamiliar with all things techie (last TV was bought in 2008) but we have just finished a big extension and overhaul project to time to upgrade. What bracket would you use to wall mount one of these?

Rumour has it that the Echo speaker will be back to £99 for Black Friday.
http://amzn.to/2f3wKnI

Also usual fire stick discounts are planned on the back of TGT!

Edit: Also Argos are planning firestick discounts.

My wife was studying a teaching course this time last year, so didn't have any income. So I just bought myself lots of stuff from Amazon deals and then gave them to her to wrap up for my presents....hehe
