Just come across this apostrophe quiz. Thought it might sort some of the boys from the men regarding grammar perfection!

7/10, reasonably happy with that.

And apparently there might not be supposed to be an apostrophe in Nazi's....

9/10 tongue out

And the one I got wrong is really only on a technicality:

Answer2: That’s incorrect. The correct option is ‘They found Jesus’ crash helmet’. Most style guides recommended a single apostrophe to form the possessive of Biblical or classical names.

8/10. If I can get 8/10 it's not a very difficult test.

I tripped on the same rule as LBP. Why should those examples be any different?!

I did the opposite and apparently I have unintentionally deified Richard Harris!

One rule for the old testament and one for the new? Hardly bloody fair is it.

I'm sure I was taught at school that if the name ended in "s" just to do "s'" (no matter their biblical status)

My result exactly! I'd like to know, though, which is correct: "one's dog is dead" or "ones dog is dead". I suspect the first...

I'm no expert on grammar and often struggle with the more obscure apostrophe words but I got a 9/10.

The one I got wrong was Richard Harris's when I chose Richard Harris'. Harris's sounds retarded to me but apparently that's grammatically correct, so meh.

Clicked on the link but couldn't see how to start the quiz! Safari on iPad. Worked second time of loading.

I was caught out by Harris'(s) spats!
