Shouldn't you be spending time with your family, or is PH an escape from the madness?

My excuse? Wife's running the emergency theatre at the local hospital, as she generally does on Xmas Day. Our Xmas starts at 20.00 tonight, with offspring and grand-offspring descending tomorrow.

In the past I've taken my faithful old hound out for a long walk, but he sadly died earlier this year, so I'll prepping tomorrow's Xmas dinner. Now I feel maudlin!

How about you?

I'm house sitting 2 dogs over Christmas and New Year so there is little else to do except watch TV and go for walks with the dogs - we've just come back from our second walk of the day smile
I'm also hoping to video chat online with my brother.

Because it takes 365 dedication to keep my posts this high quality. I cant take a day off, what am I part timer? No sireee.

That and no one invites me for Christmas probably because I am a total c*ck but hey ho.

SWMBO is enjoying herself in the kitchen preparing lunch and sweet FA worth watching on the box.

I’m having 2 minutes to myself after cooking Xmas dinner and enjoying/enduring Xmas day with a 3 week old baby.

At work, 6000 miles from home. Can’t say I’m that bothered to be honest. I still eat too much, get pissed and fall asleep but at least I’m getting paid to do it. Family Christmas in a few days when I get back.

Taking five before the souffle is ready. Then a walk along the canal, followed by main course and a relaxing evening watching TV and taking a hot bubbly bath.

Grandparents are here so they are playing with the kids. I'm relaxing and farting about in here. Still in company of my family but no need to give them every minute of my.attention.
