This has been getting more and more daft ever since lower middle class parents decided that their babies would get a post natal boost by giving them upper middle class names mixed with a bit of fantasy Princes and Princesses

Now Elon Musk and his partner GRIMES ( aka Ms Susan Brown - Smith ) have upped the anti and gone for

X Æ A-12. Musk.

Apparently Musk is pronounced as in usk and not ooosk.

So what's the most ridiculous pretentious child's names you have come across from your friends ?

I’ve encountered several at work, which I can’t repeat unfortunately.

I did see a Facebook announcement a short while about the birth of a son, Reign-Beau (pronounced “Rainbow”, obvs).

Was about to point this out....if its your fave aircraft at least get the name right! and even then why go for the A-12 Oxcart over the SR-71 Blackbird if the latter is the one you like? (The A12 is faster apparently, which is a good reason maybe?)

Raymond Luxury-Yacht?
Yes, but it's pronounced "Yatch"

(from memory but google should confirm something close)
