Have you, by any chance, done something ridiculously stupid very recently and you need to go back and mend things?!

no (and i dont drink), I just think the 70s/80s and 90s would have and been (and were for the 90s) a much nicer place to live than now.

It is of course, pure fantasy but fun to imagine.

You have to think logically that if someone in the future invents time travel, we’d have heard about it by now hehe

I read something the other day that said that a time machine would need to travel through space as well as time, as the planet would be at a different place than it is now, so if it was just a time machine, then you would just go back to a point where there is nothing but space.

And im sure the average 1920s person would have said something like 'Yeah, I’m sure being able to travel faster than the speed of sound isn’t far off' rolleyes but 40 years later we were.

The 70s?! The 3 day week? Piles of refuse in the streets? The 3 day week? Power cuts? Petrol rationing? And that's before we get to the fashion...

OK, I’ll try!

Perhaps time travel is possible, but we never developed it and came back because the planet is destroyed/dead in the future.

I understand the earliest you can travel back in time is to the point you create the machine.

So no.

That is only with the basic machine. You can pay extra when ordering a new time machine and have that limitation removed, the problem is that option is only available as part of a package which means you have to have the upgraded audio system and a panoramic sunroof.
