Other than changes in temperature and rainfall, has anyone else noticed how many more days are windy now? I dislike windy weather,, it spoils many otherwise nice days and it's hardly worth washing cars as they get dusty again in no time.

But they do dry quicker, if you want to balance the perspective.

I find I fart more in hot weather.

But, yes the cars are horrendously dusty lately.

Climate change = warming ocean = more energy in atmosphere = more storms and wind.
That means we will see both slightly higher average wind speeds and significantly higher peak storm windspeeds, and more days where it is windy.
Depending on where you are in the UK, this will be quite noticeable.
