South Coast - Beach fishing

Hi

Thinking of heading down to the south coast this evening for the weekend.

Was thinking about some beach casting / cliff fishing.

Anybody know a good spot. Ideally with a tackle shop near by to pick up bait and perhaps a an extra rod for a mate?

You obviously misread the title - it's fisHing he's looking for - there is no T in that word so he doesn't need to go anywhere near Brighton

Was recently fishing at Pevensey Bay - caught some Dab and Whiting. At the moment Gar fish are plentiful for surface fishing so I was told. Anglers Den is in the Bay with good bait/tackle.
