I'm enjoying the crap Christmas presents thread immensely, but there must have been some good stuff too.

I got a gift voucher for an Open Water Scuba Diving Referral Course, which I think is pretty cool. Basically it means I do all my theory and pool work in the UK, then I can go somewhere much warmer to finish the open water dives, which seems a more civilised way to do it.

What you got?

I got a keyring engraved with a message from my kids. I think it's probably the best present I've ever had.

Nintendo nes classic from the wife, she even pre ordered it and bought it at £40 opposed to the crazy prices £160 and up they were going for after the sell out release.

To be bring it back down she also bought herself a second controller also as a present for me the cheeky little so and so!

A set of four Riedel wine glasses, and replacement toe and heel pieces for my ski boots. Both essential and very well received.

That's not proper Lego - all the bits are Caterham shaped! biggrin

The whole point of Lego was to build something out of blocks using your imagination, not basically clip a Caterham shaped object together.

(Although I guess it's pretty accurate to the real thing!)

They look impressive but are very poor value. The cheapest they sell for is £50, sometimes up to £75. That's for 4.5Kg. Poundland do the 150g bar for £1. For £50 you'd get 7.5kg.

Yeah but that's not the point!

Got one for my missus a couple years back. It was awesome.

We finished it by April smile

They are all standard bits of Lego bar 2 or 3 pieces at just a comprehensive instruction set to assemble it. Got mine together in about 2hrs and looks great!
