I've long suspected most PHers dress like this, especially the ones continually arguing with each other in 500 page threads.

My suspicions were confirmed when one alluded to being a fire marshal at work.

One of my staff was arguing for a named role for himself in our disaster recovery policy - I can't remember what it was, it wasn't "Gold Commander" but it was something similarly cringey, and I was sorely tempted to ask him if he wanted it to come with a special hat.

OP beware - unless your posting is on heteronormatively approved topics such as watches, trainers, which London shop for dress shirts (double cuffs but no silk knots), obscure denim (at a push), you will suffer same the fate as Matty
