I'm sure Trevor McDonald got a similar one wrong with Kent Countryside. LOL's all round for that one from the big man.

if you are looking for someone on radio 5 who will absolutely drive you up the wall , try listening to dottyn adibyou (not sure of the spelling,) but this chaps bumbling stumbling delivery really winds me up

I wonder what his personal stance is on all things hunting?

To me, it sounded so well paced and enunciated to be deliberate. The correction bore no contrition or embarassment whatsoever.
