Does anyone know what the saying is about women who wear too much perfume? We've just gotten a visitor and now it smells like the perfume counter in Selfridges.

Is that the ancient;

Why do women wear make up and perfume?

Because they're ugly and they smell.

We've a secretary in our office that regularly spills a bottle all over herself before heading out of the house in the morning.

Smells minging - detracts from her rather than adding anything.

The Gold medal goes to Arab Women.

Heavy makeup and heavy perfume...no disputes there!

That's the one! It's pretty strong. My hand even smells of it and all she did was shake it.

Was buying moisturiser macho manly cosmetic products (bic razors and bruit etc) in Boots and was astonished at the polished turds in there. The perfume haze was sickening I really don't know how the staff can stick breathing it in all day yuck

Just as well you didn't ask for a handjob then. You'd have drawn odd looks every time you popped into the staff loo and unzipped your flies.

Sort of.

Why do women wear perfume and make-up?

Cos they are ugly and they stink of fish.

Any help?

Knew a lovely lass once who wore too much "Obsession".

You got used to it.

Unfortunately when I arrived at the office reeking of the stuff it did rather give the game away!

'Smells like a tarts handbag' comes to mind. My missus does this in the airport sadly, and 4 or 5 fragrances on top of each other smells utterly awful.

"Create a buzz, not a hummm"

I stole that from a 1980s Australian Deodoerant ad campaign (Insignia). For some reason it stayed with me.

I thought women put to much perfume on to hide
the stench wafting up from a rancid minge!

I call that part of stores the chemical warfare department. tank The makeup looks like it was designed by Artex and the throat burning haze of eye watering chemicals is something of which a Japanese terrorist would be proud. yuck
