Jack is looking at Anne, but Anne is looking at George. Jack is married, but George is not. Is a married person looking at an unmarried person?

We don't know because it doesn't say if Anne is married.

Is Anne fit and will jack or George be the first to smash her back doors in?

Yep, If Annne is unmarried, then Jack is looking at her, so yes.

If Anne is married, then she is looking at Georgy Boy, who we have been told is unmarried.

Yes, if Anne is married then she's looking at George who is unmarried. If she's not married then Jack is looking at Anne and he is married.

ETA - beaten to it.

Yes either way, because if Anne is married then she is looking at George and if not, John is looking at her.

Twice beaten to it. Bugger.

Oh and...
