I've not cought sight of this at all yet, but it appears that Streetview has gone 3D!

Click the little glasses man, you get a Co Op in 3d. I was actually searching for Porsche specialists, but hey, a 3D coop is better than a Kia garage!

Are they rolling this out everywhere?

I read that it was a prank, but still went to find the 3D glasses from when I saw Avatar - it doesn't work, for the record wink

Be aware though that the Street View camera cars _do_ have 3D scanners on them, they are the white things mounted just below the camera head.

And the 3D glasses icon is still there, even though it's now April 2nd.

I think you need the red/green 3d glasses not the Avatar polarised type biggrin

So, can anyone clrify - was I the first PH mug of the year, or actually just the first to spot a new toy?
I don't have either type of 3d specs, so can't tell...

It looks like TV style 3D which is fairly st anyway, looks to be an actual feature though. Can't confirm as all the 3D specs I had for the Channel 4 thing have disappeared.

The red/cyan seems to be lining up right on my car outside my house. This is using the 3d glasses that came with my graphics card. The trees look wierd though. I can't tell if it is giving a 3d effect though because my eyes are wierd about that kind of stuff. The other 3d tricks such as the pictures you have to cross your eyes to see, or those dumb books full of "wallpaper" don't tend to work on me.
