Man, there's some serious privacy issues with this. People go to a lot of trouble to blank plates on car pictures to help against cloning - this can throw all that out of the window.

I don't understand this whole number plate copying worry..... whats the difference between someone looking at your car on google than actually walking down the street and looking at it?

Or you could just walk around Tescos car park until you see something the same colour as your own car....

I've spotted one of my rental vans parked on double yellows by the Bentham Tower in Deansgate Manchester.

I'll be having words with a certain fleet manager later today.

I dont either - the vast majority of plates are made illegible and ok a few might get through - but it would take far longer to trawl google for a match to a specific car than it would to pop down to your local shopping centre or car park.
