They're pretty good. Costco occasionally sell stainless steel ones (CSPS) which are excellent.

Cheers,

I've had the one you've linked too and was very impressed for the money.

If you can afford it get one with ball bearing runners, it makes a big difference.

I got a Snap on roll cab and top case on ebay for £500. I only wanted the cab so sold the top case for £225 on ebay, so got the cab for just £275 in the end. A number of marks and knocks on it, but it does look the business in my garage ;-)

there's usually a fair few on ebay but they are damned heavy and hard to get into an estate car ;-O

I have the one in your link together with a top box.

Sturdy thing with very smooth draw runners.

Always seem to be on one offer or another (1/3 off, buy cabinet get chest free etc).

I also have the Halfords one....but I managed to get the ex display one out of the window, with a couple of scratches and a dent in it.....but (!) the manager was happy to let it go for £50 !

I too have the halfords tool boxes with ball bearing runners. They have been excellent. In and out of our van for the last 4 years problem free. Great value for money.

One of mine got nicked out of the back of a van by a couple of crackheads yesterday on the Barking Road.
Nothing else to input sorry, just venting.

That sealey looks just like the machine mart one I have.

I can't fault it, it's one of the extra wide ones in black and gold, it weighs 75Kg empty! You really can't tell from opening them, which drawers are loaded the most, the bearings are wonderful! I would recommend some spanner racks though, otherwise a set of spanners will take up a whole drawer, mine now take up half that including a set of ratchet spanners!
