Last Chance To Win An Impreza STi

You may remember that a while back we launched a competition for one lucky PHer to win the new Subaru Impreza STI - we even made a video and microsite about Subaru's new car and how you can win it.

Well, the competition is coming to a close - all entries must be in by 11.59pm on 30th November - so this is a last chance to get your entries in!

All you have to do to be in with a chance to win your own brand new Impreza is to pop over to the 'my garage' section of PistonHeads and tell us a bit about your car - what is it like to live with? How much does it cost to run? What other cars have you owned? Add some photos to complete the story and submit it to PH to enter the competition. How hard can it be?

A team of expert judges (the PH team and someone from Subaru) will pick a winner and reward them with a brand-new WRX STI, in your choice of colour, to keep forever.

I've owned to many cars...
116 to date, the longest I've owned a car is my latest one wich I own already almost 4 years...pff I'm getting old
but its a special car which gives lots of fun the Hartge Z3.

but... not English or living in the UK.

anyway a sporty car for free and not a old Panda is very nice

The steps for choosing the winner are:

Step 0 – independent exclude all entries that have less that a 100 word blog or more than a 30 word answer to why they should win the car.

Step 1 – Independent to read through all ‘my garage’ entries and score each out of 10 against the following category and create a shortlist of 100.
Pictures
Interesting content/intro
Running costs
100 word blog

Step 2 – a panel that consists of someone from PH, Subaru, Haymarket, independent person to review both car info, and why they should win the car from all 100 entries.

if so then you changed a lot

I bought all my 116 cars in a period of 29 years

there was a topic a year or so ago of King of pistonheads...I became King, but I guess have to step down and crown you to the new King of pistonheads

Not to be a whinge, but I thought this car was just the WRX STi now, the "Impreza" tag having been dropped from this model, and according to EVO, "reserved for lesser models"?

That is correct, Impreza fans will always feel this is the next Impreza though even if not in name.

Just to be really pedantic I understand that this is the WRX STI (not WRX STi), the small i being upgraded to the I when the hawkeye model was released

Nothing grates more than entering a competition online only to find the organisers "forget" or "change their mind" abouut actually giving away the prize.

we'll be reading entries for the next week at least. Most are in depth and we've had thousands, but once we've got a shortlist we will meet with Subaru to choose the overall winner.
