I'm looking at my £29 Tesco Value tyres and I'm slowly feeling a sense of dread and mortality.

I've already said to the Mrs we'll stay at home if its bad enough - we are in a remotish rural location at the bottom of a mile long fairly steep hill, the closest a gritter gets is 3 miles away if we're lucky and I'll be buggered if I'm going to risk my NCB and the cost of my insurance excess/car for the sake of a days wages.
Last years snow carnage highlighted to me how incompetent UK drivers are!

The cheapo ditch finders on my pub Astra helped it be one of the only cars on our road in January in the snow that would actually go.

Bring it on again this year!!!!!

My BMW was as much use as Ann Frank's drum kit frown

Took the TVR up into Teesdale for a spot of exercise this afternoon. No more than 2-3C outside and icy patches on the tarmac.
A very economical drive!

seems rather early that we're going to get snow in November? Usually the heavy snow tends to come around late jan/early feb. Maybe thats just my perception. Bring it on I say. Looks nicer then seeing concrete all over london.

I hope so, I've been waiting for an excuse to use the farmer's telehandler to plow through snow

Got sent out in the works Isuzu in January to find out where we would be able to get to with the buses - took a slight detour and found myself here:

Under there, somewhere is the B4391 (the Llangynog - Bala road).

I had my 15's changed back to the standard 13' 'stunners' (they came with the car) Although they have a pretty chunky tread so I might be suprized smile

Great. My Shogun is still off the road while nationwide wait for parts after some scrote took a fancy to my ignition with a screwdriver.

I've got to head to North Yorkshire this weekend, I'm praying for clear roads.
