Driving on gritted roads only!

Or struggling alot!

Shouldn't be too bad if you have plenty of tread, but I'd rather not risk it!

Keep snow chains and a pair of old jeans in your car and you can get out of almost any snowy situation

Leave the country

Stay in the house claiming you are now agrophobic and claim benefits while you can

Buy a tank

Squash a number of small animals and glue them onto your tyres - the fur will help with grip, but not red Pandas as they are the official thread mascot of PH at the moment.

Buy a tractor

Do what everyone else does in this country, stick your head in the sand its winter, have a panic attack when it snows or just pretend it isnt there and drive accordingly.

Sorry working from home and couldnt come up with anything helpful.

I'm intrigued, why the old pair of jeans?

Considering a pair of snow socks for the daily driver, but I'm never likely to encounter more than 100 yds of snow covered road in North London before I get to a gritted stretch which is gridlocked after someone pirouetting in their Range Rover.

I've got a can in my door pocket but no idea if it's any good or not. One of my workmates has bought some snow socks which definitely look more useful but it was £10 against £60 so I thought i'd give it a try.

A test spray on a bit of card shows it has the consistency of wet bostik so who knows, worth a punt at least.

I've seen a few cars with those snow sock things being driven about on the road, infact they were all being driven on treated roads. I can only image the socks won't last that long being used like that. One of the girls in the office fits then to her car for driving up the farm track to her house in Aberlour. She sings it's praises.
