I'm sitting in now a massive traffic jam because out loveable Tories have fked with the bus lane.

so instead of merging easily on the m4 to 2 lanes it's now at the flyover. tts

please direct me to the bashing thread

They're doing this in rochester, turning a busy 2 lane road into a single land and a bus lane. I can really see that reducing congestion and being a sensible use of money rolleyes

Bus lanes are brilliant things. During off-peak hours when they aren't in use, it's almost like having your own private lane opened up. No, it IS like having your own private lane opened up.

Not when they operate 24/7

Yes... those are the rubbish ones. In Edinburgh we have 0730-0930 then 1600-1830 bus lanes, I love them, no-one seems able to read the bright blue signs.

As far as I'm aware all the ones round here are 24 hours. Admittedly I'm not a town planner and don't have a GNVQ in Leisure and Tourism but I fail to see how putting the same amount of cars into 50% of the road space will decrease congestion
