Driving on the continent
Discussion
I'm off to the continent for a day trip. I don't imagine we will stray much further than France and Belgium and wondered what was compulsory to carry?
I'm under the impression that it's a warning triangle and reflective jackets.
I have to say, I have hacked across France/Germany/Belgium without giving it any thought before and for some reason it just popped into my head today.

Depends on the country, but whatever you do have the his-vis tabards in the car. Easy pull at the ports. Easy to prove. Easy to move on. Dirt cheap.
O/T - not a crazy rule. Would be a bad thing tin this country either compared to some of the nanny state rules. About £3 a tabard, might genuinely save a few lives by the roads as opposed to "speed kills".

FFS it's not hard. A tabard is a refective lightweight jacket without the sleeves.http://lmgtfy.com/?q=tabard
i.e. you don't need a jacket, just a throw over lightweight yellow reflective thingy. Tabard is a perfectly valid word.
Your inability to use google or grasp the English language is not my challenge...
